The Neuquen province is located in the North west of the Argentine Patagonia. The provincial park Copahue-Caviahue, established to protect and preserve the ancient woods of Pehuenes (Araucarias araucanas) in its natural enviroment, is in the North West of the Neuquen province.
Caviahue is a mountain village within the park.

Caviahue is 358 Km. from Neuquen, the capital city of the province, where there is an international airport and other facilities. From there you can reach Caviahue by car, bus or minivan, taking National routes 22 and 231.
In the Mapuche language "Caviahue" means "feast" or "meeting place". It´s a place of incomparable natural beauties.
You can visit Caviahue in summer or winter. The weather and the landscape will enable you to enjoy your visit.
